The Disney Trip

On Saturday, 17 August our class went on a trip to Christchurch. I packed my bag and went to
school. Sitting in the back of the van was Natal, Jett and Zion. Natal Jett and I listened to
music as Zion tried looking out the window so he wouldn’t get sick. 

Unfortunately before we got to Arthurs Pass Zion was sick, he threw up on the outside of the
window so we stopped to wash the van with water. There was a lot of frozen snow where we
had stopped so we had a snowball fight. Whaea C called us to climb back in the van as our
next stop was Springfield, then onto  Sheffield where I bought a mince and cheese pie as I
was pretty hungry.  

We played rap slap when we got to Te Pihopatanga, our accommodation during our stay in
Christchurch. I was so excited to get out of the van and went to set up my bed with my sleeping
bag. Later Natal, Zion and I played hide and seek around the marae. A couple of hours later
we got ourselves  ready to go to the Garden City Restaurant for tea. Everyone was dressed
in nice clothes. My sister came and I was so happy to see her. Later in the evening, Zion,
Jonlee and I had a cup of tea and biscuits for supper before we went to sleep.

The next day we went to the mall and I bought a purple and  white jersey. It’s an absent
brand and costs 40 dollars. I saw Jett, Zion and Natal in Kmart playing hide and seek and
asked them if I could play as well. We were paying duo hide and seek. After the mall we
went to went to Margaret Mahy Park and my sister came to see me again. We played netball for about an hour or so. 

After the game we got back into the vans to return back to Te Pihopatanga to get ready fo
r Disney on Ice. There was so many characters like Moana, Frozen and the little mermaid.
I enjoyed just being there and have some incredible memories. When Ana slipped over, it
was funny to watch. After Disney on Ice we went to Hell’s Pizza for tea. We returned back to
Te Pihopatanga and had a cup of tea, then we went to sleep. The next day we got up, had
breakfast, packed our bags and cleaned the venue. We then went to the mall for lunch.
After the mall we left Christchurch stopping at Springfield then lake Lyndon as there was
a bit of snow there. Natal, Jonlee and I were in a team and we had a lot of snowballs.
Everyone ganged up on us, but Jonlee hit Ani in the face and she got hurt.  Our next stop
was Kumara, then at Arahura Pā we stopped at the wānanga and I said my farewells to
everyone before going home.
